WiFi That Works Inside Metal Buildings, Shops and Warehouses in DFW

Signal in every bay, the lift area and the yard. One network, business-grade equipment, and a written quote before we touch anything.

Why WiFi Dies in a Metal Building

Steel walls, steel roofs and steel equipment reflect and block wireless signal. A router that works fine in a house gives up at the first metal wall. Add big open bays, concrete floors, vehicles, racking and long distances, and the signal that does arrive is weak and unstable.

Most shops end up with the same setup. One router in the office, maybe a cheap extender in the hallway, and a dead spot exactly where the work gets done. Buying a bigger router or another extender rarely fixes it, because the problem is the building, not the box.

Metal buildings need a network designed for metal buildings. That is the job we do.

What Bad WiFi Costs a Shop or Warehouse

It shows up as lost time every day, not as one big failure.

Techs stuck without service info

A technician at the lift cannot pull up a wiring diagram, a service bulletin or a parts catalog. Jobs wait while someone walks outside to find a signal.

Scanners and tablets that drop

Handhelds lose the connection between aisles or at the dock door. Counts get redone and orders get keyed in by hand.

Cameras that go offline

A camera on the back corner of the building or at the gate that shows offline is a camera that did not record the one night you needed it.

Office and shop on different networks

Phones, printers and the shop computer cannot see each other, so people carry files on a thumb drive or text photos back and forth.

What We Deliver

A result you can walk around and test, in every part of the property.

Coverage in every bay

Signal reaches each bay, the parts counter, the break room and the lift area, not just the room where the router sits.

The yard and the lot

Weather-rated outdoor access points cover the yard, the fuel island, the gate and the storage rows.

One network name

People and devices move from the office to the shop to the yard on one network and stay connected. No hopping between names.

Business-grade gear

We install managed access points and switches such as UniFi, powered over the network cable, with a dashboard you can read.

Office and shop linked

If the shop sits in a separate building, we connect it to the office network so it behaves like one location.

Guest and business separated

Customers and drivers get their own network. Your computers, cameras and scanners stay on the private side.

We keep the design details in-house. You get the outcome, a clear quote and a network that works.

How a Project Works

Four steps. No work starts until you approve the quote.

1. Site walk and survey

We come to the building and look at the construction, the bays, the yard and where your devices actually get used. We check what the walls do to signal.

2. Written quote

You get an itemized written quote before any work starts. The price on the page is the price.

3. Install

We mount the equipment, run the cable and set up the network. We schedule around your working hours where we can.

4. Test every bay

We walk the building and the yard with test devices and check each bay, door and corner. Work carries a 30-day labor warranty.

Who This Is For

Owners and managers of buildings where the work happens in steel and the WiFi was an afterthought:

  • ✓Diesel and truck repair shops
  • ✓Auto body and collision shops
  • ✓Warehouses and distribution buildings
  • ✓Logistics and trucking yards
  • ✓Farm, ranch and ag suppliers
  • ✓Self-storage and RV or boat storage
  • ✓Equipment rental and construction yards
  • ✓Fabrication and machine shops

If your shop or yard sits away from the office, see how we connect two buildings without trenching cable. For offices, front counters and guest WiFi, see our commercial WiFi installation service. We also install security cameras and wire the Cat6 cabling behind all of it.

We work across Fort Worth, Alliance, Haltom City, Saginaw, Arlington, Burleson, Weatherford, Azle, Keller, Grapevine and Dallas.

Questions We Hear From Shops and Warehouses

Why is my WiFi not reaching my shop?

Steel walls and roofs block and bounce wireless signal. A router inside the house or office has very little chance of reaching a separate metal building, and even inside the building the signal fades fast around equipment and big bays. The fix is a network built for the building, not a stronger router.

Can you get WiFi into a metal building?

Yes. We design the coverage around the structure, put access points where the work happens, and test every bay before we call it done.

Can you cover the yard and parking area?

Yes. We use outdoor-rated access points for yards, lots, gates and storage rows, and we connect them back to the main network.

Will scanners and tablets stay connected as people move around?

That is the goal of the design. Devices move between access points on one network name without dropping.

Do you work with my internet provider?

We work with whatever service you have. If the line itself is the problem, we tell you after testing and say what to ask the provider for.
