3D Printer Repair, On Site
FDM and Resin Across Dallas-Fort Worth
A 3D printer that fails mid-print wastes hours of filament and patience. The cause is usually mechanical or thermal: a clogged nozzle, a failing heater, a loose belt, a bed that has drifted. Our techs come to where the printer is, find the fault and fix it.
We run our own printer in-house, so we know what a good print looks like. We do not leave until we have printed something that shows the fix holds.

What we fix
-
Clogged nozzle and extruder problems
Clicking, grinding, filament that will not feed or comes out in fits. We look at the nozzle, the path and the extruder.
-
Hotend not heating
A hotend that never reaches temperature, drops out mid-print, or throws a thermal error. This can be a heater, a sensor or wiring.
-
First layer and bed problems
Prints that will not stick, corners that lift, or a bed that is level on one side only.
-
Skipped layers and stutter
Layer shifts, rough surfaces and prints that drift. These point to belts, motors, pulleys or driver trouble.
-
Firmware and connection problems
A printer that will not talk to the slicer, drops WiFi, or needs a firmware fix after an update.
-
Setup and first print
A new printer that needs assembly, calibrating and a working slicer profile.
How a visit works
A technician comes to you and looks at the printer in place, including recent failed prints, since the failure often shows the cause. You get a firm written price before any work, and nothing starts until you approve it.
After the repair, we calibrate and run a real print so you see the result before we leave. Work is covered by our 30-day labor warranty.
Diagnostic visit: $64.99 on weekdays. It is one flat visit fee, not hourly. The tier depends only on the drive from us to you: $84.99 if you are more than a 30-minute drive from us, $109.99 if more than a 45-minute drive, and $150 if more than an hour's drive or on weekends. The repair is priced separately, in writing, after the diagnostic.

Repair or replace
Many 3D printers are cheap enough that replacing can look tempting. We weigh:
Usually worth doing
- •A worn nozzle, a clogged hotend or a loose belt
- •A heater or sensor that failed
- •A printer that printed well before and is now only out of calibration
- •A good machine with a single failed part
Points toward replacing
- •A very low-cost printer with several worn parts
- •A frame that has bent or cracked
- •A board that has failed on a model where parts are not available
- •A repair that costs close to a new printer
We tell you plainly when a printer is worth saving.
Recent work
We recently repaired two 3D printers. The photos here are from on-site calls: a printer with its frame open for mechanical inspection, and an extruder head serviced after a clogged nozzle and feed trouble.

Common questions
Do you repair resin printers?
Yes, both FDM and resin.
Can you print parts for me?
Yes. We print functional parts, brackets and mounts on our own FlashForge Adventurer 5M.
Why do my prints fail halfway?
The cause is often heat, a feed problem, adhesion or a belt. We find which in the diagnostic.
Do you help with a new printer?
Yes. We assemble, calibrate and set up the slicer so the first print works.
