Mac Repair at Your Home or Office
MacBook, iMac and Mac mini Across DFW
Apple Stores need appointments, and a Mac that stops working on a Tuesday does not wait. Our techs come to you, look at what the Mac is doing, and tell you where you stand. That includes telling you when the right answer is Apple itself.
We work on MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini. A lot of Mac trouble is software, storage or battery, and we handle those on site.

What we fix
-
Slow Mac
A Mac that used to be quick and now beachballs. Full storage, old macOS, heavy login items and an aging drive are the usual suspects.
-
Storage full
The Mac says it has no room and will not update. We work out what is using the space and what your options are, including more storage.
-
Battery problems
A MacBook that drains quickly, shuts off with charge left, or shows a service battery warning. Many are good candidates for a battery replacement.
-
Login, Apple ID and recovery
Locked out of the Mac, stuck at the sign-in screen, or tied to an Apple ID you can no longer reach.
-
Crashes, restarts and startup problems
Kernel panics, a Mac that restarts by itself, or one that will not get past the Apple logo. We find out whether it is software or hardware.
-
Adware and unwanted browser changes
Pop-ups, a hijacked home page or extensions that appeared on their own. Yes, Macs get these.
-
Will not turn on or will not charge
A black screen, no startup chime or a MacBook that never shows a charging light. It can be the charger, the cable, the battery or the board, and the order we check them in saves you money.
-
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, printer and display trouble
A Mac that drops the network, will not see the printer, or loses an external monitor after an update.
How a Mac repair goes
- 1
You tell us the model and what it does
On the call, give us the model and year (Apple menu, About This Mac), the macOS version if you know it, and what happens: the symptom, when it started, and whether anything was spilled or dropped. Tell us if you have a recent backup. That lets us arrive with the right tools and parts to look at.
- 2
We test it where it sits
We check the startup disk and its health, free space, the battery and its cycle count, login items, macOS version and what is eating memory. If it will not start, we work from recovery mode and the diagnostics Apple builds into the Mac to tell software from hardware.
- 3
You get the finding in plain words and a written price
We explain what failed and what the options are, including leaving it alone or going to Apple when that is the better call. Nothing is repaired until you approve the written price.
- 4
We fix it and check it with you
After the repair we confirm it starts, runs and connects the way it should, and we check that your files and backups are where you expect them. Work is covered by our 30-day labor warranty.
How a visit works
A technician comes to your location and runs a hands-on diagnostic. You then get a firm written price for any repair and we do not start until you approve it.
We are straightforward about limits. Newer Macs with Apple silicon have parts that are not made to be repaired outside Apple, and some faults are not worth the cost. If that is your situation, we say so. Work we do is covered by our 30-day labor warranty.
Diagnostic visit: $64.99 on weekdays. It is one flat visit fee, not hourly. The tier depends only on the drive from us to you: $84.99 if you are more than a 30-minute drive from us, $109.99 if more than a 45-minute drive, and $150 if more than an hour's drive or on weekends. The repair is priced separately, in writing, after the diagnostic.
Macs we see
Apple machines in DFW homes, offices and campuses:
- •MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, Intel and Apple silicon
- •iMac, including older 21 and 27 inch models
- •Mac mini
- •Mac Studio
- •Macs running recent and older macOS versions
- •Time Machine and external drive setups
Repair or replace
Macs hold their value, so repairs are often worth it. We look at:
Usually worth doing
- •A battery, storage or software fault on an otherwise sound Mac
- •An Intel Mac that can still run what you need
- •Storage that can be extended with a drive or external disk
Points toward replacing
- •Logic board damage on a newer Mac, where the repair approaches the price of a new one
- •A model too old for the macOS your apps now require
- •Liquid damage that reached the board
If an Apple repair makes more sense, we will tell you.
Common questions
Can you reset a Mac password?
Often yes, depending on how the Mac is set up and if you can show it is yours. We explain what is possible at the diagnostic.
Do you replace MacBook batteries?
Yes, for models where a battery swap is practical. We confirm the part before we quote.
Will my files be safe?
Backups are the first thing we ask about. If a repair puts files at risk, we raise it before you decide.
Do Macs really get viruses?
They get adware and hijacked browsers, and we remove those.
What should I have ready when you come?
The Mac, its charger, and the Apple ID or login if you have it. If the Mac holds files you cannot replace, tell us before we start so we protect them first.
Do you do Apple warranty or AppleCare repairs?
No. Those go through Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. If your Mac is still covered, start there.
Do you come to Fort Worth?
Yes. Fort Worth and the rest of Tarrant County are the closest drives for us, and we also cover Dallas, Collin and Denton counties.
Where we do Mac repair
We work Fort Worth first: Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, Southlake, Grapevine and Colleyville are the shortest drives. From there we cover Dallas, Collin and Denton counties. The visit fee is flat, set by the drive from us to you, and we quote it when you call.
Most Mac visits happen at a kitchen table or a desk. You do not need to box anything up or wait for an appointment slot. Call, or book a visit and tell us the model.
